Alberin

Alberin was a short-short originally published in the January 2006 issue of the now-defunct ezine Deep Magic, a winner of the November 2005 Writing Challenge.   Under 500 words, Alberin is a snapshot in the life of a gravely ill ambassador who has been given a mission by Shansor’s king to negotiate the first peace with the neighboring kingdom of Arnon since the overthrow of the Guardians in 184 AFT.

Alberin will be republished in an upcoming anthology from Pill Hill Press entitled: DAILY FLASH 2012: 366 DAYS OF FLASH FICTION (LEAP YEAR EDITION).
