A Third Review of Arnon

J.L. Rowan takes one incident–albeit a very important one–in the life of a village and turns it into a triumph of the spirit.  The characters are beautifully drawn, especially Arnon.  Arnon is a farmer who finds himself helping defend his home against a persistent enemy.  In the course of the story, he changes from a tentative fighter to a man who takes charge and becomes a leader, putting his own grief aside to save his townspeople.

Arnon is a wonderful example of Ms. Rowan’s ability to create believeable characters a reader genuinely cares about.  Brava!
